I have tried a few protein bars, but they all seem so dense and hard to chew well.  I heard that Vitalady has great tasting and easy to chew bars.  Has any tried them or have another option.  I guess I have weak teeth and jaws!

I like Pure Protein bars, but I only eat half at a time!

The only ones that I have tried are from Atkins.  I had a peanit butter fudge one this morning and I thought it was really good.  A bit dry, but let's face facts here--it's not a Reese's.   I bought some from Costco but I can't stand the after taste.

I haven't had surgery yet, but I've been trying as many products as I can to get a feel for what I like.  I'm incredibly picky so I figured now was the time to start.  I've tried a lot of protein bars in the past few months.  I am also missing a few of my molars so I need things that are a little easier to chew.  The only ones I've found that are really chewy are the HealthSmart Chocolite bars.  They are 115 calories, 1g of sugar, 9g of protein.  They have a really chewy texture.  They are also delcious.  My only complaint was I found the cookie dough ones to be a bit grainy.  They tasted great, but that end texture bugged me a bit.  The S'Mores were my favorite!

Here is where I ordered them: http://www.bjsbariatrics.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=bjb&Category_Code=ProteinBars  I happened to find them while I was trying to find Syntrax Nectar samples, which they also have.  Hope that helps!

You might want to try Power Crunch bars. They are my favorite.  They are a light wafer type consistancy and much easier to chew than any others I have found. One of my local wal mart's has them, the rest don't. The cheapest place I have found them online is on drugstore.net for $14.99 a dozen.  It comes in peanut butter, chocolate/ peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla, and cookies n cream.

Some are definitely more chewey than others.  I like Atkins and they don't seem as chewey or dense and heavy in my tummy as some of the others.

The Oh Yeah Protein Wafer Bar is very light weight and easy to eat. I got some samples from Vitalady but I found them cheaper from thsi place:    http://www.supplementwarehouse.com/viewitem.asp?idproduct=16 0384

It comes in several flavors.

YES!  My suggestion exactly...Oh Yeah Protein Wafers pretty much have the consistency of a Kit-Kat.  I love them, especially the chocolate peanut butter flavor.  My go-to for protein on the fly. :)
