Hey peeps, I need help!

Yeah, I could call my surgeon's office, but that wouldn't be till tomorrow.  I am good.  Just wanted to see what other options besides the day & nyquil, yanno?

Anything more serious than what I have now, or if I don't feel any better by Friday, I am going to see my PCP who is very knowledgeable about RNY (lucky for me!!), and he knows what I can and can't take too.

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!   I didn't know that Nyquil could make me dump!!!!  I'm so glad that I read your post! I'm only a month out from my surgery but nyquil is one of my favorite wintery medicines :-)  Thank you I will not be touching the stuff.

You will be surprised how many things contain sugar that you wouldn't think to check, you know?  Like Nyquil....

I do dump, and the thought of dumping while feeling like this is not good.

I got the CVS brand (no tylenol is available still from the recall) day and night time cold pills (the kind you need every 4 hours).  Just took a daytime dose and will take the night time ones in a couple of hours.

I can breathe, just drippy; and I don't have a cough (yet).

I knew I could count on you!!

If you have sinus inflammation you can always try a neti pot.  They are suppose to help relieve sinus problems and allergy symptoms.  I know alot of people who swear by them.
 

Believe it or not the neti pot works WONDERS. At first I was very reluctant (I was not too happy abou****er in my nose) but it truely works. AND no medication is involved just warm water and salt.

Ditto on the netipot. I use a nasal flu****'s saline in a can, so it's not exactly the same as the neti, but it works just as well, is sterile (I'm a germophobe).
