Yep, I can attest to the fact that diabetic cough medicines taste like ass! I am soooo glad I'm in remission from my diabetes and this is one of the reasons!

I have taken Tylonel (sp?) in the past. Be careful with the liquid. There is a sugar free but it is hard to fine. I am fine with the pills.

Feel better!!!

I've used Tylenol cold & sinus caps and used Nyquil right before I go to sleep.  I do dump - but I'm asleep when the symptoms appear.

I wouldn't try the Dayquil if you dump as it would probably be bad (sugar & alcohol).

Otherwise, I agree with what Andrea said.

Don't know how much sugar they have, but I've taken both with no problem.  If you've figured out your sugar threshold you can just check the bottle and make sure you're within your range.  9 times out of 10 you'll be okay.  Then again, I'm not your surgeon.  I'm sure his/her office would be very knowledgable about what you can and cannot take?   Might want to give them a try, I'd give their answer a little more weight (pun intended!) than the pharmacists'

take care of yourself!
