Chewable iron - stain teeth?

Lately I've noticed a dark staining on my teeth on the side of my mouth that I chew my supplements.  I've heard of liquid iron supplements causing teeth staining, but I haven't heard anyone here complain of teeth staining from the chewable iron.

I'm going to make a dentist appointment soon to see if the iron could be the cause.  But I was wondering if anyone else has experienced teeth staining from their chewable iron?  And if so, has anything helped get rid of the staining?

So after I use up my current iron, I'm going to switch to non chewable iron.  Can anyone recommend a non chewable iron?

Any brand of carbonyl is a good choice.  Absorbed well and won't cause constipation.  I use Sundown Perfect Iron, which I get from drugstore.com.  CVS carries a brand called Feosol, if you want something you can buy in the store.

Tender Iron can be chewed or swallowed, does not stain teeth.

I don't know which iron you're using.

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

The best iron I can recommend is tender irons from vitalady.com - they are 60mg capsules and already have the vitamin C in them.  I dont know anything about iron causing teeth staining.

I don't notice teeth staining, but I take my iron during the night when I get up to make a bathroom run, and I always have a black tongue in the morning. It scared me at first, but after experimenting and taking the iron during the day, the tongue wasn't black any more.
