Is there something similar to OPTIFAST I can buy but thats cheaper?

I am beginning my OptiFast regimen tomorrow. I have two weeks of it before surgery. My doctor has a plan for those who cannot afford such an investment at the time. Arrangements can be made. I would suggest, especially when it is told to you as what is best for you from your surgeon, to find out if they do too. Best of luck!

The best alternative thus far that I have come across is the strawberry & vanilla flavored Atkins Advantage Shakes!

Calories: 160

Protein: 15

Carbohydrates: 2

Fat: 9 ( which is the ONLY negative)

Sodium: 200

Potassium: 270

FYI Optifast has no fiber, however Atkins has at least 1 gram which brings your carbohydrate intake down to 1 grams in steady of 2!

Does anyone know if idealshape shakes are a good replacement.  And if they are how many drinks in a day when 100% liquid.
