Calling all "innies!" Do you have problems with bellybutton infections...
This sounds strange, but try an OTC yeast infection cream - we used to have women use it under their panni for infections - they are generally yeasty.

Use the yeast infection stuff to clear it up, then do what my PCP told me to keep it from happening as often. Put one drop of rubbing alchol in your belly button after shower. The rubbing alchol with evaporat any water left stuck in there. Then once it is dry, place a dry cotten ball into your belly button to avoid any sweat gathering in there, Change the cotton ball out 2 or three times a day.
This has worked like a charm for me, I haven't had an infection in my Belly Button for 3 months now after following this routine.
I had horrible problems with my belly button and in January I had to take a course of Leveqin( spelling) antibiotic for an unrelated sinus infection. After I finished the meds my belly button had cleared up and a patch on my thigh in the crease had cleared up. I wonder if the meds killed off the bad fungus????
