Adult liquid Tylenol and dumping???

Just ask your pharmacist...thry are a wealth of information and this is their specialty!

Had my surgery on 2/26 and started liquid Tylenol on 3/5 and have had no problems with it.  Good luck I hope you can tolerate it. K

It didn't make me dump but I thought it was causing my blood sugar to be high so I quit it

I bought rapid release tylenol capsules and dissolved them in water then chucked them back. That way I knew there was no sugar, I could remove the capsule from the container. They tasted gross, so I followed it with a tsp of yogurt, but at least they went down.  

I could not tolerate the liquid tylenol.  Dr approved fast release gel cap tylenol.  They have been a god send!

Liquid tylenol doesn't make me dump, but it is hot in my stomach...kind of like that hot feeling you get when you drink alcohol.  I use it as sparingly as possible.

tylenol rapid blast made me dump and I am only 3 days out, didn't want to EVER find out if I dum*****t...  NOT HAPPY.  The second ingredient is corn syrup.  It's awful!!!  Still looking and if I find something, I will post cuz I couldn't have any narcotics, too sensitive so I have been doing this all without drugs.  Not good!!!

So sorry to hear you are having to go through this with no meds!!  I could not imagine.  Also so sorry you dumped so early.  I had bought it before surgery, but could not bring my self to take it. I tried the meltaways, cause the sugar was way lower down on the ingredients list,  but I took 2 and I started getting an icky pouch.  So I did not take any more of those.  The poster below suggested looking for tylenol sore throat, it doesn't have any sugar in it.  I am gonna look into that tomorrow.

Look for tylenol sore throat- it is just tylenol a blue liquid but no sugar in it.
