Ah Shari, this is a definite winner! I am hooked on this and it's so filling and satisfying. The salt really brings out the flavor of the chocolate and caramel. I treated myself to some Starbuck's mocha powder and use 1 Tablespoon (6 g sugar) in place of the cocoa powder... wowee, it's quite a treat. Thank you for yet another fabulous recipe!

Isn't it great! I've been having at least one a day since she posted this recipe. I was surprised at how the salted actually upped the sweetness.

Nik, I am absolutely hooked on these. They are so filling. I've heard before that salt intensifies the flavor of chocolate, but never experienced it directly until this recipe. As a matter of fact, I made the drink one time and forgot to add the salt... and remember feeling disappointed and not knowing why. It wasn't horrible without it, but it was "ordinary". The recipe done correctly is so very delicious.  : )
