RNY 6/16/09 - Last weighed 10/27/2011 weighed 151 lost 52 pounds 66% toward personal goal of 125, six pounds from unofficial unpretentious goal of 145lbs......basically very happy. boo-rah, RNY!

WOW! Congrats on your success. My surgery is scheduled for October, and I love to see before and after pics. Thank-you for posting these.

Thanks for all the kind words. It's been an amazing journey and I still have a long road ahead. I can't believe how much better my quality of life has become in just four short months. I am so grateful and feel truly blessed.
I am a school teacher and had my surgery in March. I hadn't really lost enough weight for people to really notice at the time that school got out. My co-workers and students are going to flip when they see me next week.
