Maybe a stupid question but I drink 2 cups of coffee in the mornings. Do I count that as part of my water intake for the day?

Thanks In Advance :)

If it is decaf, yes. Caffeine is a diuretic so if you are drinking caffeinated coffee, that subtracts from your daily liquid requirement.

You can count your ALL of your coffee (caffeinated or not) as part of your fluid intake for the day.  Habitual coffee drinkers develop a tolerance to the mild diuretic effect of the caffeine.  It's simply not going to affect your hydration adversely.

There have been some recent studies that indicate that caffeinated coffee has no more diuretic effect than the same volume of water.

I live on coffee, my pouch tolerates it far better than water or flavored water and I haven't had any deydration problems. I do switch to decaf after morning though and force myself to drink water, crystal light a few times a day.
