Gracias muchacha! Your name has come up a millionty times this week-- I sprung a leak in my left hip incision-- just serous fluid-- but it became a quarter sized hole with meat stickin' out and developed a sinus tract, and I would yell, "OHHHH NO YOU DON'T-- I am soooo NOT gonna have Shira's meaty hip!" at it at least hourly---but I bandaged it well and it's now smaller than a dime and getting dryer and smaller daily, so hopefully it's outta here soon. The image of your open wound drives me to clean and bandage the sucker even when I'd rather sleep. NO MEATY HOLES!

Hope you're recovering well-- I am physically looking great at a month out-- lucked out that way-- but damn, I still have my share of pain, especially in my hernia site and elbows. I had so much damn work done, I really can't expect much else realistically.

Hang in, stitch-sistah!

My recovery's going great. Took the bandages off my arms last night - eek, so small! So exciting!
