Hey-- you say that like the pain is over! It does get better but I am still in a lot mor epain than I anticpated-- I hope I am able to care for myself now-- just came home at a month out-- and i struggle a bit with the arms and the hernia-- and am concerned I might not sleep well (I have to sleep seated, more or less, and on my back) without sleep aids, but I am ready to give it my level best. Thanks!

I know it has to be a struggle - it helps to know that--we all know that it isn't pain free that's for sure.

You have a lot of guts to go through what you have--you are an inspiration. Your food posts (yes the excursions) do show that we will be able to eat. We can now but treats are not outside the realm of probability. I know my surgeon told me that eating will become an option--just not as much and we will savor it.
