Dinner Friday night at Chima Brazilian Steakhouse (*warning--foodee post)
It was my brother's 35th birthday, and we had a blowout meal at the most amazing steakhouse ever...one of the great Brazilian places where they keep bringing food until you put your foot against their chests to stop 'em. I was nervous to go to a Brazilian place because, well, my hoo ha has been relocated and I hadn't waxed. ;)
It was one of those nights that you wish you had an auxiliary stomach. Was OMG good. Slap your RNY surgeon good. THAT good. Had to share-- not a bragging thing, but to let people know that in time, yes, good food can be part of your life again, if you learn to manage it. You don't have to say goodbye to it-- you have to become allies with it!

If you like the Brazilian steakhouses you have here, you'd flip out with the large amount of steakhouses we have over there.
These type of steakhouses is so ingrained in our culture, that in Brazil, they even have adopted a special discounted rate for WLS post ops. If you show your WLS card, they charge you the kids rate, which is about half the cost of an adult.
You just gave me an idea, I'm going to call my local Brazilian steakhouse in Baltimore to find out if they give special rates for WLS patients.
