Update on Jupiter 6
Hey everyone.
I don't have a lot of details at the moment, but Shari got through surgery without any problems.
The five procedures (mastopexy, brachioplasty, pannus removal, anchor cut abdominoplasty and hernia repair) took a little more than ten hours. She's still in recovery, and I'm hoping to talk to her late tomorrow or early Saturday. I'll post updates as I have them - although she's arranged use of a laptop, I have a feeling it's going to be a while before she's up to typing!
Edit -
Just got an update; she's awake & eating ice chips and sugar-free Jell-o. Not quite the fare she's used to, but you gotta start somewhere. At the moment, she's also reported to be "pleasantly suprised" at the level of pain. Sounds like someone got some really good meds....

Thank you for the update. I've been on pins and needles all day thinking about her.
RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
Good to hear that she's doing well and on some good drugs :)
