Actually I have 2--Jupiter6 and Linda S
Jupiter6 has had an interesting journey as all of us had with her WLS. She shares great recipes, information and always has been a straight shooter. When she shares her experience with plastic surgery, she gives us the good, bad and the ugly, complete with pictures. Plastic surgery to some of us is a concept but she is reminding us that it is not without pain and recovery. What it also reminds all of us is that something so important is not given without sacrifice and some pain.
What we see on TV is the follow up where the patient is totally happy and had no problems. She represents some real life--it is so generous of her to share so much of herself with the OH members so we can learn about all of her experiences. Her recipes are great too. I bookmarked several and when my kitchen becomes complete, I will feel like being creative.
Linda S--she starts the What are you eating and what is eating you thread each day. The title of the thread reminds us that what you are eating and what is eating you sometimes are intertwined. She has had her battles and trials as well but shares with all and her journey has been an inspiration to me as well as others.

I can quickly name these people with no problem. In the 16 months since I have been visiting this board - the peole who inspire me most - and for different reasons with each of them - knowledge, support, kickin the butt when needed, approachability, response time, pm's, commitment to the board, helping others- especially when we are newbies and our questions must get SO repititious - it varies with each individual- but here we go (in no particular order)

PuggyDawn - hands down. She has been such a support and inspiration throughout my entire journey. She has always been there for me. I would look at her page and think, "If she can do it, I do it!" Before that I thought I would be the ONLY one this wouldn't work for. I will always be grateful for what she has done for me.
