Ummmm...I figured if I put out a Shari is the Shizz post you might think I had a "Single White Female" thing going on. I mean I rip off your recipes, look at the darn WAYE threads...I eat the same stuff as you. If I show up with a fierce haircut and supercool green eyes...if I were you I'd change your address...;-)

I know I'm not a regular on here or anything, but I wanted to take this opportunity to say that Pam has been very helpful on my journey (as short as it's been). I have several of her posts from her blog bookmarked. She explains things in a way that makes sense and is easy to understand. Her wealth of knowledge is amazing. I'm not a good rule follower unless I understand why I need to follow the rule. That being said - her post about of why you shouldn't drink after/during eating has ensured that I will never (unless choking :>) drink during or right after eating. Thank you Pam - You've helped more people than you will ever realize! (and the same can be said for several others on here!)

I heart Pam too. Her doctor is with the same program that I was going to get my surgery with the first attempt. yeah, I've been working on this for 6 years. geez. She also understands the joys of Tony's diner in Birch Run Michigan.

In all seriousness, she was one of my first friends when I came back to this board for my second attempt at WLS. Her posts are always insightful and honest and appreciated by all of us.
