Medical ALert Bracelets???

Anyone have any ideas for NON-METAL medical ids? I am allergic to most metals and would love to find something in either plastic or leather.

I'm with you on this one. . . if its not titanium or platinum, I can't wear it.

You must be a good "googler" - I have been looking for a fabric type band like that for a while. Looks like it will do the trick for me! Going to order one just as soon I get my wrist measured.

A friend of mine had some made up in rubber (like the Lance Armstrong - "Live Strong" bands) that have the Medic Alert symbol and "Gastric Bypass" on them. I wear mine all the time!

I got mine from www.laurenshope.com. I'm pretty sure they have non-metal id tags too. You can have the tag engraved with what you want. Mine says "Gastric Bypass no blind NG tube."
