I used milk of magn. a couple of times.  Pills weren't too difficult for me right after surgery though.

Thanks everyone. I totally forgot about Milk of Mag, Benefiber and Miralax. I have two huge things of Benefiber on the fridge right now. I'm hoping to be in a good place going into surgery, if you know what I mean. At least I don't want to start with a problem anyway.

Good also to know of the small size of some of the other pills.

Thanks for the help!

Denise

Don't forget to stay up on the fluid intake.  That is where I went wrong.  I had surgery in July in NJ.  Hazy, Hot , Humid.  YUK.  I wasn't drinking enough and it was HOT. So that is when the problem started at about 6 weeks out.  But probably could have been prevented if I worked harder at getting my fluids in.

miralax does work really well and i keep milk of mag pills on hand too. i also started taking three doses of benefiber a day. they make a pretty tasty no sugar added pill. good luck!
