I can't help but pick out two flaws in your quest here.

(3) Select a WLS that is not too invasive but more effective in the short term than the Lap Band
They're ALL invasive.  You're selecting a procedure that is sectioning off an stretchy part of your stomach, abandoning all of the functioning parts leaving them susceptible to atrophy, adding an artificial stoma to deposit undigested food into a portion of bypassed bowel.  You call that the least invasive?....just sayin.....

(4) Select the Surgery that will give me the Best chance to change habits/develop new good eating and exercise within that 18-24 month period
You need a plan B for this one.  There are 50+% that never experience dumping syndrome.  If you can't control your willpower now, how will you change your negative eating habits if you don't dump?  Those who look forward to negative reinforcement may find themselves terribly disappointed.  Negative reinforcement has never been a truly successful deterrant.  The test subjects find ways to continue negative behavior without getting caught.  I just want you to be looking at this realistically -- because in your last post, you were definitely in some kind of dream world.

Jimny Crickets didn't you get enough on R & R yesterday? Where are you going to pop up next on all the state boards or the main board. Dense people never learn.

Get a life. You are expending too much energy on a subject you should just give up and let it go.

(psst...she didn't post on R&R. She posted here in the RNY forum, and it got pulled to R&R due to non-G-rated content)
