Why I have Chosen RNY

No matter how many times you say, it will still be false.    That doesn't mean the RNY isn't the best choice for you, but just because it's what you've chosen does NOT mean that all surgeries are alike.

You should be asking for more than opinions.   Ask for FACTS.    And don't stop until you get them.

 Also those who have come into the game late and think people are being mean, this person started major drama earlier today.  Poster - you could have added this to your existing post instead of starting a new one.

 

I didn't cause any drama...drama came to a Post I put up, just like YOU coming and saying that. What gives You the right to try and tell me what to Do...what's wrong with the Post that I put up, Nothing at all, but a bunch of bigotted peeps who want a reason to attack.

There are certain medications that are more effective for blacks over whites.  It's a well-known fact that a specific cardiac med is much more effective in the African American community, versus another drug in the same class.

Why?

Well, it's cause our bodies *do* act somewhat differently.

So is that medicine a bigot?  Can an inanimate object truly be racist?

With that in mind, blacks have ailments that are more common than what is found in whites.  When was the last time sickle cell was found in a caucasion, or sarcoidosis?  So now diseses are bigots as well.


You need to back the **** up, sit down, and act like the lawyer you claim to be before you start spewing **** you have no idea about.

It is *well* documented that the DS is more effective for African Americans than the RNY.  That's simply anatomy and physiology.  Plain and simple.

And if by showing you *hard cold facts* that makes Diana a bigot, well, then, you're a frickin' moron.

Andrea - there's a mantra out there... "when all else fails, play the race card"

She lost her argument, is trying to save face and so everybody must be a racist.  She can't admit she's wrong.  If she's an attorney and goes to court, I'd love to see what happenes when a judge of a different color rules against her.  "Your honor!  You clearly must be a bigot!"

I just don't understand the need to share what she did in the first post in the first thread.  How about just saying..."hey everybody!  I decided on a surgery!"

And by the way, you are not the fattest, blackest person here. You very well may be the THICKEST-HEADED, but at least we don't have to live with you.

And we don't care about your private opinion about what type of surgery you chose. But when you make it public, and back it up with nonsense, not FACTS, you invite correction. We don't want newbies and people seeking revisions to hear this crap and accept it as fact. (For those just joining us, ValueMe thinks the results of all WLS are the same for the short-tem and long-term and they are very, very different. She cannot back this up with a single fact, but has been presented with tons of scientific, peer-reviewed reseach to the contrary, yet still keeps yelling.)

I read your profile. As you have demonstrated there with your own words, you are one sad, bitter piece of work. A professional victim. You have let you weight doctate who you are and what you do. Some, like me, call that "making excuses." Rationalize your bad choices, your lot in life, whatever all you want PRIVATELY, but stop putting out lies and opinion as "fact." You are hurting others when you do this.

You do not know what you are talking about. It takes a special kind of person to stand tall when faced with criticism, but it takes a special kind of STUPID to stand tall when the world is presenting you with fact after fact and you refuse to listen. Don't confuse the two. Your obstinance on this issue is not admirable, just stupid.

And OH didn't pull the thread, they put it on the R&R board. Thanks for helping us get the word out about the DS as an option. We experienced an infusion of newbies on the DS board yesterday, asking really thoughtful questions about the DS. Your free toaster is in the mail.

Hmmm guess again!  OH didn't take it down because we were bigots, they moved it to R & R.

You knew there would be drama, just like you knew this would happen now.

We don't want to attack, although sometimes it lets off steam.  But we don't let, misinformation and attacks go by quietly.  We have a responsibility to pay it forward to newbies with good, accurate information not the spewing of an attnetion seeking, glorified wannabe.

So, why is it that people must be disagreeing with you because of your race?  Do you do that in the courtroom too? 

Being black doesn't make you wrong, and if you're so concerned about being treated equally, then stop insisting that you're so different!  You're the only person who brings race into your threads.
