How to take Biotin (with or without food)

I bought Biotin lozenges today at the VitaminShoppe and I plan to take them daily.

Are there any interactions with my multi, calcium, iron, etc?

Can I take on an empty stomach?  Full stomach?  etc

Biotin is a member of the B family. Vitamin B's work better when taken together, so take the biotin when you take your vitamin B complex. There really aren't any other rules regarding biotin.

What strength of Biotin is required after surgery?

It isn't "required" per se -- I read about it on here.  It's used to prevent hair loss.

The ones I found are 1000 mcg (333% daily value).
