I put just a little milk on it and ate probably 4 small bites....now I am feeling like I am going to hurl .
This is the first time since surgery that I've eaten something and felt like this!  Ugh!   Anyone else have this happen with theh SK cereal?

I ate it once or twice without a problem, and then I got really nauseous, shakey, and dizzy when I ate it again.

I haven't tried again!!

Nope.  I've eaten it and it went down fine but I'm very sorry you got sick from it.  Everybody's stomach is different and for the first few months you never really know what you can't eat until it makes you sick.  Hope you feel better soon.

I just bought the box yesterday and this is the first time trying it!  It says 2 gms of sugar per serving but then I looked at it has high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient about halfway through the ingredients.  I thought I'd be fine because the sugars are so low...but ugh,  I'm not going to try this again.   Hopefully hubby will like this cereal or I can give it away to a friend or family member....ugh I still feel nauseated and like I will throw up any minute.

I really wanted to try this since I normally loved the Special K pre op.   It seemed like an easy breakfast but ughhhhhh, I feel like absolute crap.

Hmmmm....I've eaten it also with no problems.  It has a pretty good amount of protein in it so I had to give it a try.  Maybe it was that in combo with the milk.  What kind milk did you use?

I can drink a cup of milk fine, but anything beyond that and I dump (I think I'm lactose intolerant).  I've had the Carnation SFIB and I dumped on that, just because it already  has milk in it.  I drank it with one cup of 1% and that put the lactose (milk sugars) up to 17 gms!!

I put just a few TBSP of 1% milk on the cereal, just enough to get it wet.   I think it might've been the high fructose corn syrup in the cereal, even though there's only 2 gms of sugar in the stuff.   I don't think I've eaten anything with the fructose syrup yet.

Thankfully, I am finally starting to feel better and the feeling has passed.... That was NOT fun!

I was just looking at that this past weekend. Have been craving cereal for weeks now. Have a feeling the same thing will happen to me.

The only time I've ever had a true dumping episode was from cereal and milk. Weird since I know I've eaten things with higher sugar than that had in it. Other things have made me queasy and not feel good, but this was TRUE dumping.

I've eaten 2 different high protein Kashi cereals and been fine.   I will have to check and see if they have sugar and HFCS in them.  This SK cereal one didn't go down so well.  I kept feeling nauseated and my mouth got all watery feeling.   I won't try this cereal again...well at least for a looooong time!

I just looked at the SK cereal and SUGAR is the 9th ingredient and High Fructose Corn syrup is the 11th ingredient!   And there's still like 10 more ingredients after that.   So it's more sugary than I thought, with TWO kinds of sugars in it!   But it only says 2 gms of sugar?!

I also looked on the Kashi Go Lean Crunch and it has evaporated cane juice crystals, honey- 13 gms of sugar.   I don't get it?!   Not the actual sugar and HFCS but more gms of sugar and I didn't dump on this stuff!   Whatever....

I can't seem to eat more than 3-4 bits of any cereal without feeling sick!  Dont know what it is but for some reason I react to cereal just as I do to breads
