For those of you that don't know what a cougar is...it's an attractive older woman that dates younger men....and as for MLIF...did you see the movie AMERICAN PIE?  Stiffler's mom is a MILF...(a mother I like to f**k) My daughter's friend that I haven't seen in about 6 months..came over lastnight and I answered the door...he says, "ah, does Brittany live here"?  I said, "hello Steven".  He looked at me stangely and said "Mrs. Simmons"????  I said, "yes Steven".  My daughter came to the door and as I'm walking away he says, "you mom is a MLIF".  I had to back up and tell him that I heard him and not to think of me like that...I'm the same old fat girl, just in a skinny girl suit.  He was really embarassed and apologized. He stayed for a while and needed a ride home, it was really dark outside and there aren't any sidewalks between his house (about 1 mile) and ours.  So I ask him if he wants a ride home.....my daughter goes with us too.  I take him home and his dad is waiting outside.  I didn't know he was a single parent.  He looks very young to have a teenage son.  I introduce myself and the dad turns to the son and says, "how would you like a cougar for a mama"?  Now I see where the son gets his comments from.....I told the young father that my hubby is very happy with me. Why is it OK for a someone to say that to me?  I'm just terribly offended thinking that this boy is being raised with such male chauvinistic view on women.  I can swing a wrench, mow the lawn and scratch my ass and do it all in a pair of high heels...I just want a little respect when you talk to me. had to vent..again, Dawn

Ok is it really bad of me to say....I would be SO thrilled to be called a MILF!  LOLOL It would of made my day! Yes bad parenting on that boys father's part...and I am sorry it offended you. Good for you for bringing it to his attention. Not so sure I would want him around my daughter after a comment like that though. You are one hot mama...and damn the thought of you swinging a wrench in high heels just adds to it...if I swung that way that is!

Oh thanks... don't get me wrong...I laughed and smiled when the comment was said, but it did bug me a tad.  If you know my posts..if it was irritating me that bad,  I would jumped on the boy & dad like a junkyard dog.... so it wasn't really that bad..just something I noticed because it was father and son!!! I'll keep ya in mind if I start playing for the other team!     and of course, if you start playing for the other team too... Dawn

I don't know whether I would be flattered or floored! I'm with you on the "can do it all in high heels" attitude. I think of myself the same way although no one has called me a MILF. I think if I were you, I'd keep an eye on that boy near your daughter. She certainly doesn't need any of that kind of unwanted attention,

OK Dawn...I knew what a MILF was...thanks for filling me in on what a cougar is. Another board I'm on...they're kidding about coming to Vegas and staying at my house. I have my 2 boys and 2 of their friends living with us...thats me;DH and 4  20 yo boys. One of gals was kidding and said..."tell them the cougars are coming!!!" And lets not forget the territorial 5 lb chihuahua. She doesn't think that 3000 sq ft is enough of space!!

I guess the apple didn't fall far....My son gets mad at friends for being direspectful to women/girls all the time. I swear- they are mental at that age.  Now- I don't ever get the MILF thing, but  last weekend, my son got "Man, I didn't know you had sister---she's kinda hot..even though she's already knocked up."  DS slugged him, called him a choice name and said", That 's my MOM, Dude!" DH just smirked and said"' I'm the baby daddy." He was in his uniform andd it scared the pee outta that kid. Keep being you and let them drool. Angie

I guess it's just that I'm getting to be a grouchy old ******* but behavior that was considered completely out of bounds 25 years ago when I was a young man is commonplace and almost universally accepted today. Thanks Hollywood. "how would you like a cougar for a mama"?   If you're like me, you always think of the perfect comeback after it's to late, but "How would you like a eunuch for a daddy?" would've been perfect. Sounds like the world would be a better place if this sad sack of **** was rendered nutless anyway. And it might even be a "teachable moment" on proper etiquette for the boy.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

I had a neighbor's son say something along those same lines to me some months ago. We came to their house for a barbeque and his son was there. His son is a "player" and thinks he's really something on steroids...Wears tight jeans but has nothing to offer in them...He says to me "I'll have to move home and give your husband a run for his money. hahahah" And without missing a beat I said "That will NEVER happen."  How come all the guys who talk like that have no nerves or feelings from the neck up?
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
