Hey chick...  Slow down and breathe....   From one Military wife to another....  After they have been gone, be it one month or 18 months.. they will always be glad to hold us, love us and make sure we know it before they are off again.  Rest and keep up the good work... HEY, are you walking for an hour a day or so?  Thats a really good kick in the scale. Smile.. June is coming. ~Lisa

Hey Susan, you have plenty of time!!! You just had MAJOR surgery, your body is trying to heal itself and deal with the fact that you are not feeding it as much as you used too.  It is trying to fight you with anyway it knows how...hanging onto the calories and fat.   You are just stalling right now...VERY normal.  When it's ready, it will kick in and let go of some more weight.  Sounds like you are doing everything right. Start taking measurements..around your biceps, chest, stomach, thighs..etc.  You'll see, even if you're not dropping pounds, you're losing inches. Good luck to ya, Dawn

Women . . . you're so silly. Let me educate you on the male species.  We are extremely simple.  There's no need to overcomplicate the situation.  Just break it down to the basics.  We like good food.  We like nudity.  We like to relax and take it easy.  Now, if you can work all three of those things in at once, he'll be MORE than happy. My suggestion . . . meet him at the door, nude, sandwich in one hand, TV remote in the other.  Bingo. You're welcome :)

LOL, Daniel!  I bet after being gone so long, he will see such a big difference in you!!!  Please do not make yourself crazy with wanting to speed this up ... Eat right, exercise, and focus on things other than the scale.  Oh!  It's also to important to remember that even though you are not losing pounds, you are losing inches ... and that is even more important! Hugs, Annette

He likes the way u look cause he married u....lol...so anything u lose will be great to him. Your sweet face and undivided attention, maybe some new sexy things...and the new found confidence that comes with weight loss will be all you need to blow his mind.

I really think the sandwich and remote and nudity will work fine but to put your mind at ease do this:  Go and get the clothes that you wore to the hospital and try on just the pants..I bet they are WAY too big. You can even take your picture holding them out to show how much you've lost. Then you will at least feel better that you look different in your own mind. I'm sure you have lost alot of inches if not actual pounds on the scale.. I kept the biggest pair of pants I had before surgery for just that reason. When I start thinking that I'm a fat cow, I put those pants on...They are HUGE.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!
