Daily Rant - Tuesday Edition

No rant today.  I'm feeling much better.  Thanks for the vibes!  Come share and vent ... feel better.

Well, the INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE.  That being said. We owe $9300+ in taxes and were told by the tax prep people that the IRS sets up payment plans with no interest. WRONG. Penalties (6%) and interest (4.5%) will cost well over $900 the first year, plus their payment fee ($105) . I guess we have the time to get a personal loan so we're off to the bank to see if they will loan us money for less money..Yikes. Good thing I didn't wait till April 12th to ask them to set up a payment schedule. I'd have been really screwed.  Otherwise, I'm having a great vacation. The sun is shining. I may just have to go for a drive in my convertible to get some sunshine therapy.  I pulled out all the camping stuff to see that it's all in working order so we will be able to go camping in July (yeah, it's early but I gotta do something today and the house is too clean already).

Yeah! WTF?? I'm not in there either. Mean girls.  I am extremely tired today with a yucky headache. And I am at work which is poo. 

This is now week THREE of my SECOND stall since my surgery only 2 months ago! The first one lasted 3 weeks.  That means I have "stalled" 6 out of the nine weeks since this ordeal began.  I HATE stalls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I don't know if this is a rant or a WOW moment...

I am at a business conference far away from home. The pants I am wearing today are falling off! They are the only black pair I brought and I have to be dressed nicely because I do a presentation this afternoon. We have to walk a pretty good distance from our hotel rooms to the meeting rooms (same hotel but reportedly the largest Marriott in the world). As I'm walking I can feel my pants falling down! The bad part is that I still wear a large enough size that I can't just run to any store and buy another pair. So I walk and hold my pants! So I guess this is a mini-rant - I wish I had either brought smaller pants or wore a size I could easily find to buy more. Otherwise, I'm thrilled to have too big pants!

URHGGGGG!!!!!  "helper boy" (my 22 yr old), cleaned his upstairs toilet.    He THOUGHT the disposable toilet brush head was flushable.  I'm sitting downstairs and hear the guest bathroom girggle and chug.  It's just inches from overflowing!!! DAMN IT!!!  I think the toilet brush head is caught between the upstairs and downstairs sewage lines.  I gotta pee so bad...can't use any bathrooms in my house...thank you Mr. helperton!!! Gonna have to call a plumber too - DAMN IT!! And to think..I was gonna write - no rant today!!!   Dawn

That pug...her name is Little Bit.  She's my "pocket pug"..much smaller than a normal pug and she was born without eyes..she's a happy girl!!  HMMMMM, court jester hat...gotta find one of those. Dawn
