Thank you! I see the new surgeon in about 2 weeks. I'm praying to get a resolution soon.
Thank you for your response! :) exactly what I was looking for. I hope to go back to work within a weeks time. And if I can get down about 20 some pounds I know I would feel so much better in my clothes. Happy to hear your recovery went so smooth. Man now I am even more excited:) thank you!
Hi! My procedure went smooth, very smooth. I am down 22 lbs... The weight don't come off as fast as it did for the original surgery but it us coming off. I stayed off work 2 weeks but honestly I could have went back after 1 week. I have not experience a dumping episode nor diarrhea. If I work out harder I believe the weight will melt off a lol faster... I need to be down 50 more lbs by July, so we will see. I feel great. #prayingyouaspeedyrecovery
Hi, yes I was clearded Friday last week. Still can't do anything that will cause strain in the mid section.
I was not able to revise to Rny when the crap band came out. The scarring and adhesions were extensive. My doc said I needed 3-6 months before he'd go back in. It took me 3 years to get my head back in the game after the disappointment.
Best wishes to your wife for a quick and uneventful surgery.
In on this as well..my revision from VSG to RNY is May 10
Hi! new here. I had my sleeve done in 2014. I lost about 90lbs. Did great with it. Have gained about 25 back. But main thing is HORRIBLE GERD!! Like super intense. Surgeon suggested revision to bypass, it is now scheduled for May 15. I am super excited and cant wait! If you have had it, can you tell me about the recovery process, how soon you went back to work, how soon you could eat "normal" , and how much weight you lost? Thanks!
GREAT NEWS!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR MY REVISION SURGERY...5/17/18 IS MY SURGERY DATE..BCBS.KINDA NERVOUS...BUT EXCITED.
I have lost 38 lbs since surgery. My surgeon said that is not typical, most of his patients have lost between 15-20 lbs right after surgery.
