preop testing tomorrow

hi all, i have been in consultation with dr christopher thompson of brigham and womens in boston regarding the endoscopic repair of my pouch. for those who don't know, this is a procedure where the surgeon goes down the throat to do the pouch repair with no incision. it is day surgery. i went last week for the barium swallow and the deviation was seen in the pouch. tomorrow i got to get endoscopy to see how much scar tissue is in the pouch. i have been scheduled for the procedure on may thirty first, but if i have too much scarring i will not be a candidate and it's back to the drawing board to find a surgeon to fix my pouch. i'll let you all know how i do with the test...
