I'd like to hear from those who have revisions from RNY to DS

There seem to be so many who have had revisions to RNY from something else but few of you who have had revisions to a DS from a RNY. I need to find a surgeon and Dr. Anthone has declined me as a patient. He told me he no longer does revisions (but his office staff did not know this when I called them on Monday)

Come to beautiful sunny california, Delano to be more specific....and have Dr. Keshishian do your revision....He's a great doc and has lots of experience with revisions, he does quite a few. good luck.....Annie DS/not a revision....11/2001, bowel obstruction repair 9 mo. out 2002, and another bowel obstruction w/ hernia repair 2003...Whew! Doing ok now.

There is also Dr. Husted in Nashville, TN, he is one of the top revisionist in the WLS field and he also does the DS. He handles many very complicated cases. You might check with him if you have not settled on another Dr. by now!! Patty

I had a revision from RNY to DS in June of 04. I lost 110 pounds and feel great. It was a big surgery. I have a post on duodenialswith.com
