Revision even though I didn't mean to!

Has anyone else had RNY surgery and later had their "Y" removed and rebuilt further down the intestine (away from the scar tissue)? I had a bowel obstruction about a week and a half ago and ended up in surgery... this is what they did to fix it. They think my original "Y" had a defect that was hidden from my surgeon by all of my fatty tissue at the time of my RNY (June 2005). I ended up with my "Y" twisted and flipped across to the opposite side of my stomach. Just curious and hopeful about hooking up with others in the same boat. Nicole 6/7/05 - Lap RNY 312/167
