Insurance specialist at Dr. Husted's office said I should have an answer no later than Nov. 15th.

send all the prayers and good thoughts you can spare My way!!!! I had no trouble getting aproval for the 1989 revision or the repair surgery in 1998 that ended up being a reversal, BUT I am really 
worried about this one!!
First of all, it is following that UNREQUESTED reversal, and second, it is for a partial DS. BC/BS wants to consider ALL DS WLS as experimental, but it HAS to be DS, because of the old staple lines and the compromised blood supply to the stomach, with those 2 things a pouch is out of the question.
So for now I am just waiting on either an 
approval or a 
denial. If I get the denial, I will most diffinantly follow thru to the next level. But right now I need a guardian 
angel to watch over my paperwork at BC/BS!!
