Need tips to get ins approval

I have just started my new journey towards a VBG 2 RNY revision. I have BCBS PPO insurance. BCBS paid for my VBG with no hesitation because of my weight, diabetes and blood pressure. VBG just didn't work for me and now the weight is coming back as well as the diabetes. My blood sugars are out of control and I am going back on my diabetes meds. I now have knee problems which have been documented with my orthopedic doctor. Looking for any help out there!

HI, First have you Dr. ask for a peer to peer with the insurance company. Make sure you dr. know that you weight, diabetes and bp have come back. I just had my revison due last monday and the insurance company would not pay for it, but my dr push for it. I also called the company my self to give my send of the story.... good luck....
