Birth Control

I read somewhere that if you have had the gastric bypass, birth control pills wont absorb right in your stomach...therefor making it uneffective...is this true?

I thinks there is some truth. My Dr. switched me to the patch because she said I would absorb better. I had problems with that because I take meds for narcolepsy and it screws up the birth control. So the birth control patch may be the way to go. I loved the patch. They say you should be careful while losing weight. Apparently there is extra estrogen in the fat. When you lose the weight fast you could get pregnant. That is what I read somewhere.
