WooHoo On my Way to Monterrey!!

I received a call from Dr. Cesar in Monterrey today. He is Dr. Rumbaut's assistant. Both Dr. Cesar and Doralisa talked with me took my stats, asked me questions and then told me I had a probable surgery date of June 10th! That is NEXT FRIDAY!! I am so excited, but I was surprised to learn that I have to stay in Monterrey for 9 nights and 10 days! I hadn't realized that long of a stay is necessary. I'm glad though, it lets me know that they really want to be sure that I am doing ok before I head back to WI. Can anyone tell me about their experience in Mexico and how they passed the time and what I can expect? Should I take drinking water and boullion cubes? What can you tell me? Thanks! Renee'

Congratulations Dawne!!!!! Hurray!!!!!! I know nothing about WLS in Mexico, but to get a speedier and comprehensive reply, you might want to post the same questions on the Main and DS board. There are lots of losers who have had their surgery done out of country. Congrats! And blessings!
