Shirl, 27 Years ago I had an intestional bypass. When I applied to get a rny I was denied because they said I had already had wls. In my appeal I had documented how my past surgery was usually death or no weight loss. I was one of the "lucky" ones that lived but regained all my weight I then documented the information on the sucess rates of ryn surgery. I put in the facts that 7 people die from the complications from obesity to every one that dies from the surgery. I also wrote a heart felt letter how the obesity affected my daily life.
