Revision to Duandual Switch

I have been looking in to having a revision to my surgery. I had Gastric Bypass Duandual Switch in June of 2002, I was 230 and after a year I had only gone to 165 which was very little in comparision to my two sisters. In the last eight months I have gained back 20 pounds. I am now looking into having a revision to help me lose the rest of my weight. I am looking to talk to anyone who has had or knows anything about having a revision. However most people whom I have talked to had one surgery initially and then have opted to have another version done the second time. I want to know if there is anyone whom has had the same surgery done again. My surgeon says that he will shorten me but I want to know if anyone has ever had there "pouch" made smaller as well. so please leave any information or email me at [email protected]

Andrea, I too had a DS revision. Though they did not make my stomach smaller due to concerns and being able to intake enough protein ( I was already on the low side) They just shortened my limb.
