420lbs to 260lbs, revision time?

I'm 8 years out from lap sleeve and went from 420 lbs at age 23 down to currently 266 lbs at age 31 My weight has hovered around 260lbs for the last 5 years and no change in excersize and eating has budged it more than 10 lbs. I consider this a big sucess but am now pretty sure its time for revision surgery to lose the last 80-100 lbs.

I'd like to hear results of being resleeved or DS. I've been doing research on endosleeve too but it seems less sucessful. I'm scared to do something as drastic as DS due to stories or malnutrition and needing to go to the bathroom a lot.

I also have a good amount of excess skin to be removed in the future but have no idea how much weight it equals to.

DS on 02/18/21

I literally just had my revision to DS done Feb 18, 2021. I never hesitated. My main reason for the revision was bile reflux, but I had also regained from my low. The experience I had from the VSG gave me the confidence that I can overcome any issue that will come up.

Take a look at my YT vids.. my wife has 2 videos on complications from her RNY that are similar (malnutrition)...

My thinking is the DS gives me a tool that almost cannot fail. I?m much better at trying to eat the right things than I am trying to not eat the wrong things. The fact my surgeon did not have to re-sleeve me has helped with recovery so far.

Keep in touch and I will let you know what challenges come up..
