This week's Revision Update

Hello all,

I met with my surgeon yesterday for the final consultation. I met all of my goals and requirements for surgery so this final meeting was to wrap everything up and also inform him of the surgery I decided on (Bypass). This appointment went really great and I'm very happy with my surgeon. Now that this part is done, the next step is for the clinic to send everything into my insurance company for review. The Program Coordinator said she usually hears back from my insurance company within a few days!!! I'm hoping to have word back from them and, upon approval, have a surgery date set by the end of next week. It's probably looking like August for surgery. I was hoping to get it done sooner but, as long as I have a date, I'll be happy. I'll ******vous wreck now until I hear back from insurance. I think that's the most stressful part so far.
