New Here Revision Underway

Interesting thank you. Just curious someone mentioned a DS which I have now figured what DS is.... Have you thought of that? I need to do the research as I'm still trying to figure it all out.

At one time I was considering it but only a few doctors are capable of doing the DS here in US. I wanted a doctor that is local and I believe the RNY will be better to rid of my GERD. I also didn't want to go with it, my opinion is that it's really intense operation.

Have u had ur revision yet? I have mine scheduled for 11/1 VSG to rny

I had my 1mo post op for the band removal today. My insurance requires 3 months between surgeries so I still have 2 months to go.

My surgeon has pretty well sold me on the duodenal switch because of the amount of weight I have to loose and the fact that I have developed diabetes.

Hope to nail down a surgery date soon
