Revision on 07/01/17

Hi everyone this is the first time I've posted here but I'm very worried and considering canceling my revision in 3 days cause I'm not losing on optifast.

Can anyone share if they lost after their revision after not doing well on the pre-op diet. Serious operation to have and only lose 10 lbs.

Thanks for your help.

I've heard weight loss is slower and not as much, but please hang in there. I think I, too, will expect more - so I'm saying it to hear it myself. Keep optimistic, I'm doing this to get my health back. If I stay where I am, I'll be on diabetes meds before I know it. My diabetes was "resolved" in 2 months after my initial surgery & I'm not willing to go back! They already increased my BP med. Idk what your goals are besides weight loss, but maybe make another NSV? Good luck & let us know if you go through with the surgery or not.

Hope this isn't too late.

I had Band to RNY revision on May 16, 2017.

On 14 days of Optifast I lost 8.9lbs.

Since my Surgery I have lost 16.8lbs. I am beyond happy with those results.

No regrets.
