Can they deny the surgery for this?

What does this mean? Member complied with previously prescribed post-operative nutrition and exercise program? I had my surgery 10 years ago. I don't have evidence of that. Is that an automatic denial? I have Federal BCBS.

No if there is a reason you don't have and can't get records of previous compliance. I have Federal BCBS and I had my first RNY surgery over 10 years ago thru WISH center which closed down within a year or less of my surgery so I never had recovery or maintenance assistance from surgeon or any one else. I applied for revision and finally approved at 3rd appeal. Send a letter explaining your needs and why you need a revision and why the records are not available. Good luck.
