sleeve to rny 4/5...day2 liquid diet

You'll get through it. One things that this two week period will teach you is you can learn to ride out any hunger.

Lately that phrase 'not that bad' has been driving me insane. Since when did our measure of satisfaction/contentness turn so negative? I've been conscious lately about choosing things that leave me saying -- 'you know, that's pretty damn good!'

What shakes are you using? Is it high protein low carb?

I am having the same surgery the same day Vertical sleeve gastrectomy to RNY.

i also have a sleeve and am looking into a revision. Just curious as to why you chose RNY instead of DS. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I pray your surgery goes well!!!!

My Dr gave me no choice. If I'd known more about DS, I'd definitely ask for that. I just never considered it because I've been so intent upon keeping my RNY and honestly scared me before I got my proximal RNY. It probably (if you know to ask for it) has to do with blood work and how your absorption rates have been since your original surgery. I was only given the option of the Distal RNY.
