How long do I have to wait to revise from v s g to r n y? I am not successful with the sleeve, my surgeon even said my weight loss is inadequate. I know surgery is not a cure all that is why I see a therapist on a regular basis to work through the emotional things. I feel like I made the wrong surgery choice for me.

If you have Binge Eating Disorder, another surgery will not fix that. I know, because I suffer from BED and it's taken a lot of hard emotional work, CBT and time to be successful. A revision to another surgery will not fix the cause of you unsuccessful loss -- I am sorry to say.

Well it depends on whether or not your insurance will cover a revision first of all.

What does your daily meal plan look like? Are you eating too much or the wrong things or both?

How is your fluid intake?

Why do you feel RNY would be better? You can binge eat around any surgery.

You need to get your BED sorted out. More surgery won't make you eat the way you're supposed to. Once you get your BED sorted out though, you'll be able to have success with the surgery you already have.

I'd be shocked if a surgeon would give you RNY, so soon after VSG, considering you have unmanaged BED and no physical problems with your existing WLS.
