VSG to RNY revision
Finally have my surgery date. Dec 27. Same story as many of you...I have had the most severe GERD you can ever imagine. So bad, the enamel is gone off my teeth, the inside of my mouth stays raw, and more nights than not, it wakes me up shooting out my nose. I have exhausted all possibilities with both of my insurance companies. They paid for the first one, but apparently say I am non-compliant by my regain, and refuse to pay for this one. I'm like...HELLO..I could care less about losing weight, I need this to get my quality of life back. So, I am fronting some major money to have this done. My surgeon thinks they will pay a large portion of my bill for the hiatal hernia repair, but may or may not pay for what my surgeon believes is rhe "fix" (the revision) Regardless...I am having it done! The day after I get off my cruise. Wish me luck!
