Looking for Revision for my RNY...options?

There are a few options out there.

A Proximal or Medial RNY can be revised to a distal, which will increase the level of malabsorption to help with long-term loss.  It does nothing for the stoma if it's stretched, though.

There are revisions to try to shrink the pouch or stoma, but I've not seen many good reports over the years.  Many consider a waste of money.

Best chances for serious changes would be to revise to a DS, but as others have offered, there are few surgeons who do it.  The DS board can make recommendations, though, and expect to travel for it (many do).

Some surgeons are also putting a band over the bypass, but that scares the hell out of me considering all of the problems with the band anymore.
