For those of you who've gone through w/ revision from RNY to DS, what are some things you wish you would have known beforehand?

Anyone? No one?

You probably will not find many folks with that revision, as it is a very complicated surgery and not many surgeons perform it. You might want to post on the DS forum for help.

I don't get on here very much anymore but just saw this question you put out there. There is really nothing I wish I would have known because I had a great surgeon, who has since passed away :-(...  but he and his nurse were so thorough in everything they told me ahead of time. I am still within 10 lbs of my lowest weight from six years ago so I'm happy. Have you already done it? Yes, the surgery was very complicated and took a long time because I had a lot of scar tissue but it all was okay and I had a good recovery and success.

Let me know if you have any more questions! Good luck!
