I need revision

I'm sure there are ways to have it submitted so it isn't as a WLS. Kind of like having things submitted as a "revision" to get them paid for. You might have to go to a gastrointestinal doctor to have this procedure done for your insurance to pay for it.

I am not 100% sure if they still do, but Starbucks used to offer insurance that included bariatric procedures. It's been a long time since I last looked into it, however. It may be worth doing some research, at least. 

Unfortunately, if your insurance policy doesn't cover WLS, there's very little you can do. If it's excluded, you're probably wasting your time trying to get them to cover a revision. It's pretty cut and dried, sorry to say. 

Best of luck to you. I surely feel for you. I also have extreme reflux due to the lap band damaging my esophagus. It's a real rotten thing to have and I'm sorry.
