Band makers claim your stomach goes back to its original state but it does not.  It does not fix the damage to your stomach, the scar tissue, the damage to your esophagus, in no way does your body go back exactly the way it was pre op.

Each time your surgeon does surgery it creates alllll new scar tissue.
