HI Sheri,
Why do you think that is so. i understand for insurance purposes u have to call it that to get the band removed but my stomach is "suppose to be back to normal " right like nothing ever happened ?
Hee heeee 4 more days Sheri..

Yippie only 4 days to your new life. I'm not sure why they still call it revision but there was a poster on here once, not to long ago that was considered a revision after her band had been removed for 4 years. How crazy is that !

Not really crazy, revision merely means the person has a history of obesity and a prior wls. The surgeon really does need to know this just like he does all your past surgeries because that tells him what kind of scar tissue he will be dealing with. Some will decline the surgery and refer you to an experienced revision surgeon. So, that information is quite important.

Hi WLSVet ,
Why do you say "after lapband your stomach will never be the same again" Isn't that the purpose of removing it and letting it heal so that it can go back to the same way it was? Just curious my surgery is tomorrow and i looked forward to waking up sleeved. When i went to get my revision on April 5 i woke up unsleeved because my band had slipped and did terrible damage (doc said) so he wanted me to wait 6-8 weeks .. i had /have no hernia to both our surprise the band had slipped (i had no symptoms, the upper GI and Barium Swallow showed i was ok to do revision and BAM! all of this when they went in..SMH. However today i feel great band removal healed no problems and im ready for tomorrow my question i guess now is is there any reason that you know about that could again have me wake up UNSLEEVED..
Thanks
