Does Arkansas Medicaid pay for lapband removal?

I had my lapband done Oct 2006 in Mexico. I lost from 203 to 157. Felt great. Then I got Thyroid cancer had a complete thyroidectomy. Gained every bit of my weight back. I still get my food stuck at times, stomach problems now. A pouch enlarged over my lapband. And sometimes it stings. I dont eat alot but continue to gain. I live in Jonesboro AR. I just want my lapband removed. I cant afford the sleeve or gastric bypass. I just want the lapband removed. Does anyone know if medicaid will pay for it?

Sometimes they will pay for a revision as well as removal. You need to call them and get specific criteria. Good luck ! I hope they are able to help you
