Very normal. Weight gain due to all the IVFs they give you during surgery and afterwards.  I gained 14 lbs and it took 10 days for me to lose it.

yeah you are right on track it will all fall off soon.  Your body is retaining all those fluids that you were given just follow your diet plan and it will all work out....

i am following diet. thanks for your reassurance.  hardly eating any soft diet/pureed food, but liquids. im afraid of screwing something up and food of no interest now.

Don't be afraid of liquids you need them especially when you aren't eating food. As long as you sip every few minutes you'll be fine, the liquid goes straight thru. You don't have to worry about messing anything up with liquids and you will feel better if you stay well hydrated!

I just had revision on January 18th and gained 12lbs post surgery just lost it all plus 3 lbs of my pre-surgery weight. I freaked out too but was told it was normal.
